FOREST AND LAND AREA
• study, design, surveillance, liquidation, measurement, estimate and accountancy of works concerning reafforestations, forestal use, conservation of nature, landscape protection and forestal arrangement;
• all general estimate operations and, particularly, the estimate and surveys regarding land goods, land capitals, animal and vegetable productions direct or derivate, production means, damages, expropriations, easement in agricultural, zootechnical and forestal enterprises, and in firms for the utilization, transformation and trading of these products;
• agrarian and forestal mechanization;
• works and tasks regarding plants cultivation, plant defense, and also the conservation, trading, use and transformation of relative products.

BUILDING AREA
• cadastral, topographical and cartographical works;
• farmhouses, agrarian and forestal industries;
• little, non-rural buildings within the competence limits of surveyors;
• hydraulic and road works prevalently of agrarian and forestal interest and in rural environments.

ENVIRONMENTAL AREA
• study, design, measurement, estimate and accountancy of works regarding territorial planning and ecological plans for environmental defense;
• evaluation of environmental impact and the following monitoring for what concerns effects over flora and fauna;
• landscape and environmental plans for the development of natural, urban and extra-urban ambits, ecologic plans and surveys of the forestal and agrarian estate;
• landscape and naturalistic recovery;
• conservation of rural, agricultural and forestal territories;
• recovery of caves and dumps as well as natural environments;
• making up of noise damping vegetable barriers.

TERRITORIAL AREA
• hydraulic and forestal setting up, water use and régime, preservation and defense of agrarian soil, transformation and land improvement;
• studies of territorial arrangement and zonal, urbanistic and landscape plans;
• sector development plans and, in town plans, drawing up of studies for territory classifying;
• artificial basins that do not pertain to the dams office of the Ministry of Public Works.

URBAN AREA
• design, measurement, accountancy, surveillance and liquidation of works regrding public and private green areas, urban and extra-urban natural parks as well as gardens
