On November 17, 2004 Associations, Companies, Universities and schools all over the world will open doors to people with conventions, clinics and theme courses with the intention to spread the knowledge of geographic culture and GIS technology applications. GIS Day was born inside the Geography Awarness Week, an initiative sponsored by National Geographic Society, Associaton of American Geographes, University Consortium for Geographic, Information Science, United States Geological Survey, Library of Congress, and ESRI.

San Diego, California (USA)
G.I.S. 2000 will attend the 23rd ESRI International User Conference that will take place in San Diego, California (USA) on July 7-11, and will also participate to the “Custom GIS Software Applications in Agricolture” session, presenting “Desktop Solution for Farm Management and Planning” where developers will describe the AgriGIS application, born to manage and plan the activities of a wine farm.
G.I.S. 2000 will participate to Map Gallery exposing four maps relative to a Province of Turin - Territorial planning and Land Defence Department study: “An in-depth analysis of the PTC for the proposal of urban and landscape-environmental reorganization and requalification projects in and around the area of Ivrea” , for which they took care of cartographic setup and GIS aspects.
April 10-14, 2003 – G.I.S. 2000 at 37th Vinitaly Edition
G.I.S. 2000 will attend the 37th Edition of Vinitaly inside the Arezzo Province stand as guests of Tenuta Vitereta.
Visitors will have the chance, along with wine samples from Tenuta Vitereta, to have a look at AgriGIS application, born for the management of a wine farm and developed with Marcello Bidini, Tenuta Vitereta owner.

Ottobre 14-16, 2002 – G.I.S. 2000 at the 17th ESRI European User Conference , Bruges (Belgio)
G.I.S. 2000 will attend at the 17th ESRI European User Conference that will take place in Bruge (Belgium) on October 14-16 2002, and will take part to the Agriculture and Technical sessions with two presentations.
In the Agriculture section GIS2000 will present “GIS Desktop Solution for Farm Management”, a description of the AgriGIS application developed for an Italian wine farm management.
In the Technical section, DTGeo (Del Tongo GEOmarketing: desktop application for management and monitoring of a company sales network) will be presented and described in its various aspects.
